YottaMark, a supplier of food tracing services, sponsored a research study in 2007 among a broad sample of U.S. families to explore how consumers feel about food safety, the impact of recalls and safety alerts on purchase behavior and consumer interest in Web-based solutions to trace the source of their fresh produce.
